Marketing Manager - Asset Management (M/F)

The Job:

The primary focus of the role will be to support and guide the overall promotional activities for fund and separate account business under the company's licence, acting as a central EU based coordination point for the branches in Europe. As part of this role the associate will help navigate the regulatory requirements across Europe, in particular those areas relating to the retail market.

The role will work closely with the Distribution teams in the branches, ensuring marketing and client service-related materials are in line with the evolving regulatory requirements of the CSSF as well as local regulators in other core markets. The role will act as an escalation point to senior marketing, Distribution and L & C management, ensuring the ongoing seamless and compliant execution of the promotional and client servicing activities in Europe.

Key responsibilities:

·Responsible for helping to establish expertise and framework for the production of retail compliant marketing material across Europe.
·Responsible for helping to establish expertise and framework for the use of social media across Europe.
·Responsible for supporting the Copy Editors in the process of tracking and incorporating all compliance language updates to ensure materials comply with legal and regulatory requirements of the CSSF and local regulators.
·Works closely with the L&C team to understand evolving regulatory requirements and the impacts of ongoing regulatory change such as MIFID II on our client servicing and promotional activities. Responsible for communicating the impact of these changes to the relevant Distribution teams.
·Acts as an escalation point to senior management in case of concerns about promotional activities or where arbitration is required.
·Ensures the company's evolving marketing strategies (including the evolution of the digital capabilities) remains within the regulatory guidelines in Europe.
·Works with the local teams, especially CMMs, to understand local business and marketing plans, providing guidance as needed from a regulatory lenz.
·Keeps up to-date with industry trends, competitor activities and regulatory developments.
·Participates in meetings with regulators representing marketing, in conjunction with senior L & C team members and OXC.
·Works on ad hoc projects and in some cases leads projects related to promotional and client servicing activities in Europe.
·Gets involved, as needed, with data related topics and partnerships we have that are relevant to the business conducted under the company's licence.
·Be a member of the Luxembourg Fund Industry Community for topics relevant to the function
·Responsible for the Management Co reporting

The Candidate Profile:

·Experience with marketing collateral created for a retail audience
·Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills with team members and managers.
·Able over time to interact with regulators and peers from competitors.
·Strong communication skills.
·Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work effectively across teams and functions.
·Demonstrates ability to prioritize assigned work and complete in a timely manner.
·Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of investment language, spelling, punctuation, grammar and style guides and ability to apply it to work assignments.
·Demonstrates working knowledge of financial and investment concepts, compliance issues and ability to apply it to work assignments.
·Can deal with ambiguity and work in a relatively unstructured environment.
